Most tool round-ups are written by people who never installed the tool. You get a list, a few screenshots, and a link. Then you spend the evening working out that the API changed, the free tier does not include the thing you needed, and step 4 assumes a service that no longer exists.
This site is written under one rule: if there is a guide, the workflow, the script or the container is included, and it was run before it was published.
What that means in practice
- An article about an automation has the exported workflow file attached, so you can import it.
- An article about a script has the script, with the commands and the reasoning.
- An article about a setup has the
docker-compose.ymlthat brings it up on a small VPS. - When something did not work, that gets written down too. The dead ends are usually the expensive part.
What you will not find here
No affiliate-first lists dressed up as reviews, no courses to buy, and no paid traffic pushing the same five tools. Any link that pays a commission is labelled (Ad) right there, next to the link, before you click it — and every one of them is something that is actually installed, self-hosted or paid for.
The first guides are being written now.
