About TheByteNook

TheByteNook is a small, independent tech space about making software work for you: AI tools, automation, Linux and the setups behind them. It is built by a developer with a decade of hands-on experience in Linux, Python and data systems, who got tired of tool round-ups written by people who never installed the tool. So the rule here is simple: if it has a guide, the workflow, the script or the container is included, and it has been run before it was published.

Expect practical tutorials, honest notes on what did not work, and the occasional desk setup. No courses to buy, no hype: just things that save hours.

How this site is funded

TheByteNook is reader-supported. Links marked (Ad) are advertisements: if you sign up or buy through one, we earn a commission, and that commission costs you nothing extra. We only link to tools we have installed, self-hosted or paid for ourselves.

The label is on the link itself, not just in the footer, because UK advertising rules require an affiliate link to be recognisable as advertising at the moment you meet it.
